How to Make Bengali Aloo Chokha
Peel the boiled potatos and mash.
Heat oil in a pan and let it smoke out. Allow oil to cool for a while and when oil is warm, add chopped onion. Fry until onion is light pink in color.
Add panch phoron and salt. Fry for a while.
Add dried whole red chilli and fry till they are dark in color.
Add mashed potato and mix well. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on low flames.
Bengali Aloo Chokha is ready. Garnish with ghee and serve it hot.
