Kheer is a festival and celebration food. Kheer can be prepared with rice, sabudana, sooji and vermicelli.

I prepare Dry Fruit kheer with almond and cashews. It is a very rich recipe.

Preparation for Dry Fruits Kheer Recipe

  • Milk : 1 lit
  • Almond : 1/2 cup
  • Cashewnuts : 1/4 cup
  • Sugar : 1 + 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom Powder : 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron : 1 pinch
  • Ghee : 1 tsp
  • How to Make Dry Fruits Kheer

    Soak badam overnight in water. Peel the skin and make a fine paste while preparing for kheer.

    Make a powder of cashewnuts and mix with badam paste.

    Fry the badam and cashew paste in ghee for 2-3 minutes on low flames.

    Add milk and stirr. Boil the milk till it remains half of its measure.

    Add sugar and let it dissolve completely.

    Keep cooking for 5 more minutes on low flames.

    Garnish with saffron strands and refrigerate it.

    Dry Fruits Kheer is ready.

    Serve it chilled.
