Malpua Rabri Recipe

Malpua Rabri is a sweet dish served in Eastern Uttar Prades and Rajastha. Maplua is a pan cake made of milk, sooji (semolina) and refine wheat flour (Maida).

It is served with Rabri. It is also served soaked in sugar syrup.

Preparation for Malpua

  • Milk : 1 lit
  • Refined Wheat Flour (Maida) : 2 tbsp
  • Sooji : 3 tbsp
  • Ghee to pan fry
  • Sugar : 1 cup
  • How to Make Malpua

    Boil the milk on low flames and reduce it to half of its original measure.

    Meanwhile dry roast the sooji and mix in milk.

    Mix the maida as well and leave no lumps. (I blended it).

    Now heat a frying pan, grease with ghee and pour a sreving spoon full of batter on it.

    Spread it in the round shape and fry evenly from both the sides.

    Keep aside the malpua.

    Make sugar syrup and dip malpua in hot sugar syrup.
