Soybeans Sabzi Recipe

Preparation for Soybeans Sabzi Recipe

  • Soybeans : 1 cup
  • Onion : 1 ( chopped )
  • Tomato : 1 (chopped )
  • Ginger : 1/4 inch
  • Garlic: 4-5 cloves
  • Green Chillies : 1 ( chopped )
  • Turmeric : 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder : 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard Oil: 1 + 1/2 tbsp
  • How to Make Soybeans Sabzi

    Wash and soak the soybeans in water overnight.

    Drain the soybeans to make sabzi.

    Take pressure cooker and add 1 cup of water and add drained soybeans, cook till one whistle.

    Heat 1 tbsp of mustard oil in a pan and let it smoke out. keep the flames low to let the oil cool else the spices will burn.

    Add onion to warm oil and fry till they turn to pink color.

    Add cumin seeds and crackle. Add other dry spices turmeric, coriander powder, fry for 30 seconds on low flames.

    Add ginger garlic paste and fry. Add chopped tomato and green Chillies. Add salt as well and fry the tomato and spices until it starts seprating from the oil.

    Add boiled and drained soybeans and cover the pan. Cook on low flames for 5 - 7 minutes.

    Soybeans Sabzi is ready.

    Serve it hot with chapati.
